The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966)

"When you have to shoot, shoot don't talk"

When you talk about spaghetti westerns it's impossible to not talk about this classic. There's being cool and then there's Clint Eastwood. This lone ranger, cowboy, forms an unusual partnership with his rival as the two have half the information each of a treasure buried at a graveyard and find themselves in a position of having to trust each other. Set during the American Civil War the two must travel through the war and at the end outsmart Angel Eyes, an army official who has been frantically searching for the gold. It is the coolest three way standoff.
Almost a 3 hour movie doesn't feel that long because of the sheer brilliance and entertainment value. No scene is wasted or seems out of place. It's absolute gold.
R.I.P Ennio Morricone.
